Regulators-Variators
The advantages of using a regulator-variator are more than just voltage control, because the technology also provides control over the power consumption of the receptors, which extents the expected lifetime and brings considerable savings of energy consumption.
The Augier induction variator-regulator offers the regulation technology necessary to improve the expected lifetime of your installation. This is achieved by the direct voltage compensation due to fluctuations on the supply network such as those caused by varying loads.

The LV voltage THR 38 RB regulator-variator is available for three phase connection for powers between 10 to 160 kVA. The THR facilitates automatic or pre-set variation of the network voltage. The voltage can be between 50-100% of the nominal value, which provides the opportunity to adjust the illumination level accordingly.

The range of MV voltage induction regulator-variators from Augier SA includes three different versions. The MHR 320 for single-phase regulation, the DHR 320 for two-phase and the THR 550 three-phase regulation. An induction motor using the rotating movement of the rotor in front of the stator provides the variation in output voltage. The unit is driven directly by an electrical motor and a reductor mounted on the top of the variator-regulator. There is easy access to all components and no sliding electrical contacts, which reduces maintenance and provides an exceptional long lifetime for the regulators. A wall-mounted control cabinet contains the remote control and local commands. It is supplied with a 6 m cable and all connections between the cabinet and the variator.
